Shipping / Return Policy
Shipping and Handling – Most items will be shipped USPS Mail with an estimated delivery time of 1-3 business days from the date of shipment, If you need faster delivery, then please contact me: email@example.com Your order will be shipped the next business day if ordered after 12 p.m. (except for Sunday.) Custom Tack orders must be made before we can ship your order, please realize that when you order custom tack, it normally takes extra time day for us to make it (excluding weekends). Most items are in stock and ready for immediate shipment. Custom orders will be shipped within 1 week, normally our custom orders will ship within 2-3 business days. If for any reason an order cannot be shipped within the time specified, the customer will be notified via email or phone. International orders are shipped US Postal Service. We cannot guarantee the delivery time on International shipping.
Repairs – $10 minimum charge for all repair work. Repairs will be billed at $20.00 per hour labor rate plus cost of materials.
Returns – We want our customers to be 100% satisfied. We will always work with you to try and fix the problem and if we can’t we will gladly refund your money or issue you a store credit. Please contact our customer service number 800-533-2327 before shipping anything back. For orders that we have authorized to be returned after 30 days, we will give you a store credit less your original shipping costs and a 15% re-stocking fee. All returned or exchanged items MUST be in unused condition and with all original tags. If we do accept any item that has been used, or is missing tags, there will be a 15% restocking fee. Additional shipping and handling charges to exchange your items will be applied to all exchanges. When shipping a return to us, you are strongly advised to insure your shipment and obtain a tracking number. We cannot provide a refund or exchange if your package is not received.
FREE SHIPPING – If you return an item purchased with a free shipping promotion, the actual cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund/store credit. Failure to observe any of the above guidelines may result in shipping and handling charges.
Custom BioThane® -NOTE: RETURNS do not pertain to Beta Biothane tack as all Beta Biothane orders are considered custom made and are NON RETURNABLE. All BioThane® orders are custom and are based on the accuracy of checking your measurements against our SIZE CHART and are therefore not returnable. If you have a problem with the fit, we will gladly help you via phone or email to make any adjustments or make alterations at no charge for the first alteration only. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges including the return shipment back to customer when the alteration is complete. If we do accept the return of any custom Beta Biothane tack item, there will be a 15% restocking fee. Additional shipping and handling charges to exchange your items will be applied to all exchanges. We offer a 1-year warranty on the BioThane® items against any defect on the workmanship in the construction of the item.
Limitation of Liability – In no event shall the seller, Running Bear, be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages or for damages in the nature of penalties. Seller is a distributor of products manufactured and warranted by others. The goods sold are furnished “as is” by the seller and are subject to the manufacturers warranty. Seller makes no warranty, express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose. Horses are strong and unpredictable creatures; it is therefore the responsibility of the owner to assess fitness and suitability of a product for his own horse. Running Bear acknowledges that the word BioThane® is a registered trademark of Bio Plastics, Inc. and we simply use their products to make custom horse tack.
